A true inspiration

Every time my stepdad John came to visit he insisted in giving, helping, supporting, and being a grandparent to my 3 children. He always weeded and mulched my flower beds, replaced doors and trim inside my home and attended many basketball games and dance performances. I remember him this past year insisting on completing the baseboard in my bedroom so I would feel special and cared about. Countless times he and my mom would take my children during my many moves or during my divorce to help. He was always trying to better everyone's life by helping, supporting and giving encouragement. I am grateful. You will forever be in our presence.
