I did not know that Russell had died until now. He was a gentleman, and great to work with. Russell was my lab inspector for many years, and I considered him to be a friend. He will be missed. I will pray for him.

I take comfort in knowing Russ is at peace now after suffering from ill health for many years. I remember sitting next to him at a Veterans event at NJDEP for Vietnam Veterans many years ago (10?). He said it was the first time that anyone had thanked him for his service in Vietnam. Thank you for your service, Russ.

Get times and great laughs

Russell, it seems like only yesterday we were working together in NJ. We shared many a conversation related to careers and the paths we had taken and those yet before us. The occasional trip to AC to beat the odds or a happy hour in Voorhees, NJ we always had great fellowship. You were truly a friend and a colleague. You will be sadly missed but remember as my friend.

We shared many a laugh and his birthday was the same as my Dad, so I will always remember you PAL. We talked several times a week at times about the stock market and how to make our fortune, sometimes more of a gamble than anything else. We also played the ponies in Saratoga, a place that Russ loved!

Russ was a wonderful guy to work with, as well as being a dear friend to me. we had many laughs. He helped me bet on horses for the Kentucky Derby, and as well as very helpful with my deferred comp, explaining to me the ins and outs of stocks and bonds. I will miss him, very much. I am glad he passed peacefully. I know he will be with us all in spirit. Thank you, Rusty for your friendship. RIP, buddy. Kathy Mancle

Russ was just a good guy, plain and simple. So even tempered and relaxed. We shared many a good meal and theater shows in town, and always had a fun time together, along with Judy & Shelly. We miss you Russ...
