Julia had a love for learning and graduated class valedictorian of Lower Merion
High School. She graduated with high honors from the University of Pennsylvania’s
School of Nursing. After working as the head nurse at Lankenau’s maternity unit, she
went on for further studies and graduated from Columbia University School of
Nursing’s DNP Midwifery program. Julia practiced midwifery at Lankenau Hospital and
taught midwifery at the University of Pennsylvania. Julia was passionate about her role
as a midwife and was greatly respected by the many women she served.

Julia’s heart. They became inseparable.

volunteering at Delaware County Literacy Council.
