Memory Book

My condolences to the family for the loss of a good mom, a humble soul. An aunt I regretfully never was able to meet. I pray God's angels gently delivered her to her loved ones on the other side free of the burdens of this world and ready to rejoice with all family members who have been waiting for her arrival. May God's tender mercy heal and comfort all those left behind in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

You’ll always be with me Mom

My mother sacrificed much raising four children. She worked most of her life to provide and make the best life she could for us. Much of that time as a single parent supported by our Grandmother. Tough when she needed to be, but always loving. On a meager income, she sent all of us to Catholic schools and we’d even take the occasional shore vacation. I remember her kindness to strangers, her devotion to her children, and to the church. I remember her laugh, how proud she was of the simplest things, her reading to us when she was exhausted, and her wish for us to be as successful as we wanted. She worked 40 years in basement of the Philadelphia Free Library to allow us to live our best lives. In the end, she did not remember us, or her life, but I do. Her memories may have left her, but they live in me. I love her and will see her again. She is with all those who preceded her, including my Grandmother. I see them now, sitting at the kitchen table, laughing and loving. Waiting for us to join so we can tell stories, and catch up on all of the things which make it all worth doing. I love you Mom.
