Stephen Frank Trenton

Stephen F. Trenton (65) of Newport Beach, CA passed away due to a heart attack in the early morning of Sunday, December 30, 2012 at his home.

Steve was born March 3, 1947 in Peoria, IL to Howard and Ethel Trenton.  He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Carol (Aupperle) Trenton and his two sons; Joshua Trenton (32) of Costa Mesa, CA and Matthew Trenton (31) both of Costa Mesa, CA. 

Steve and Carol spent 60 years in the Peoria area prior to moving to California to live near their sons.  Family and friends were his life and he felt that even though he had many adventures in his days, his greatest accomplishment was raising two sons that were not only brothers but also best friends. 

Steve fought a tough battle with throat cancer and had survived for nearly 25 years prior to his passing on Sunday.  Although lingering affects of the radiation treatments hindered his day-to-day actions, he refused to give up and in doing so proved to be a role model for countless family members and friends.  He will be remembered by many as he touched numerous lives throughout his days. 

No services are currently scheduled; however, a Memorial Service will be held in his honor during the Spring of 2013 in Peoria, IL.
