Bob was a mentor and father to me. He was a brilliant guy with great kindness that is so rare and special. He showed me the greatness in America. I will always remember my first memory with him at a supermarket, in football, horse racing, baseball, camping, fishing, and traveling through - lisa

Bob, aka: #16, Hooper was my dear friend and team mate. We shared a special time
together which bonded us for life. I was fortunate to have talked with my friend during
his final week on this earth. He consoled me more than I could offer him peace. He will
always, along with team mate #27 Bill, remain with me until my final day.

My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could have given their daughter, he believed in me. It doesn't matter who my father was; what is important and what matters is how I remember he was. I love you Dad and I miss you. - Amanda Ainsworth

Always a true friend, friendly adversary, direct and honest. Sparring was our favorite means of communication. His kindness and generosity in hiring me during times of unemployment will never be forgotten. The last drink I bought him was a chocolate milkshake....couldn't believe he'd favor that over a Grey Goose! I'm sure he isn't so virtuous now that he doesn't need to take any meds. Bottoms up, Ainsworth!
