I remember Aunt Jeanne as a fun loving, good hearted woman who could always keep a conversation rolling along with a question, a joke or a story. Like all the Gronner sisters, she had some interesting and funny stories -- and always had an opinion, which I appreciated even if I didn't always agree with her. At the same time, she would listen to what others had to say so you felt part of the conversation. But you knew if she didn't agree with you. She didn't hide her opinions. She was also willing to entertain unusual ideas, ideas outside the mainstream, which made for interesting conversations. I think she loved popular culture and she loved to socialize with people.

I'm sure Ken and Gary, who spent so much time with her in the latter years of her life, heard many more stories about her life, her parents and her siblings. She was lucky to have such good, attentive sons during her last years, which must have been difficult at times as she struggled with health problems.

I was lucky to have her as an Aunt, and I will miss her.

We have good memories when Cal and I would drive to MN and then Leila would fly in. During that time we would meet your Mom and your aunt in Fergus Falls for lunch. Sometimes we would go back to your parents home for dessert and get to see Norris. We had great times with them talking about all the memories they had when they were younger. Gary, I remember one time you also met us for lunch.
