Memory Book

Thank you Betty H. for taking care of all of us while we were growing up. Also, thank you for taking care of Dad. Your marriage stood the test of time and you both provided stability for us as children.

Your high energy, strong work ethic, and expert organization skills were inspirational to me. I wish I was a better pupil.

Often I remember your encouragement and one or more of your motivational expressions such as “Always do your best and you’ll find you can accomplish even more.” One phrase I frequently recall when I am speaking in public or among friends and family is “Think before you speak.” Again, I wish I was a better pupil.

Thank you for giving us a wonderful step-sister who shared your thoughtfulness and spark for life. She continues to be a positive influence. I’m proud to brag about my family and walk down memory lane.

Love,

I have so many wonderful memories of our visits with Grandpa and Lala at the lake. I will always remember her kindness, and warm smile. I will especially treasure the last visit that we had together. I want you to know that I am so sorry for your loss, Trish. You and the boys will be in my thoughts and prayers, and I am wishing you all peace.
Much Love,
Tracy

I love you Mom

The quote mom chose for her high school yearbook is the perfect description of her. I couldn't have put it better.

I loved her deeply and will miss her more than words can express.

She and dad loved the lake and were happiest when they were sharing it with family and friends. In their honor, we will continue their legacy with a vacation home, WINCHELLEN, a place for future memories for their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren for years to come.

The Lake

As a young girl, I used to love visiting everyone at the lake! I have nothing but fond memories. Betty was always so kind and I used to love the way she always said " Do you want to go to the pool" in her awesome southern accent. She will be missed!
