Dream Street in Ocean Beach
My name is Amy Johnson and I would spend many nights over at Darlene's house with her daughter Michelle. Darlene was a beautiful spirit and she had a kind heart. She would make us eggs and coffee in the morning. I remember one specific night when Darlene, Michelle and I went to Dream Street club in Ocean Beach to see a talent show. During the talent show we saw belly dancers dancing with hool-a-hoops and swords. We had a blast that night. Darlene you will be missed. May you be at peace.
SERVICES SCHEDULED July 25th 10:30am Miramar
We plan on publishing a tribute to my mother and her life, which will also include the details of both San Diego and Santa Barbara memorial services. A internment ceremony will be performed by the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve Association on July 25th at Miramar National Cemetery at 10:30am.
