A Quiet Loving Person

Joyce was a kind, quiet, pleasant person who loved gardening and in helping others. She worked at various hospitals starting at age 19 at HUP as a ward unit secretary, and at Hahnemann University Hospital and Jefferson University Hospital. Her last position at Jefferson U. Hospital was in Human Resources as a specialist in recruiting Doctors and Nurses. She was beautiful, independent and stood up for what she believed in; she endured a great deal and fought a good fight during her illness and will be severely missed.

A prayer

Almighty God, we remember this day the life of Joyce E. Moore Sartor, your faithful servant; and we pray that having opened to her the gates of larger life, you will receive her more and more into your joyful service, that with all who have faithfully served you in the past, she may share in the eternal victory of Jesus Christ our Lord; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
