Always loving, always alive, always caring, always helping, the greatest hugger, the sweetest eyes, the gentle voice, the strong beliefs with judging others, the connector to nature, the giver, the caretaker...some of the things I will remember about Anne, lodge sister and friend.

Grace of the Earth

Anne took solace in the Wild Earth

"THE PEACE OF WILD THINGS"
by Wendell Berry

When despair grows in me
and I wake in the middle of the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children's lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting for their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

My condolences

I just want to share my condolences with the family and friends of Anne Park. I also want to share. Scripture from the Bible from Isaiah 25:8. This scripture shows a promise that God has for us in the future. I hope this is of comfort to you.

Seasons of Love

What can I say about a best friend, soul sister and prayer partner? Every day for the last ten years or so I talked to Anne or saw her. Ours was an instant deep deep friendship - the recognition of yet another family member.
Anne's love of All creatures great and small, her love of the natural world and her devotion to the Holy One - God - were the common bonds we shared.
Anne was such a kind, gentle soul and welcomed all into her heart. She loved Temenos and found a spiritual and physical home here which she devoted herself to serving all.
It is hard for me to write a memory - as for me she is still quite alive. I see her in the landscape - in her favorite spots - I see her in drum circles in church and on and on.
Most of All I see how blessed I am to have such a friend though all seasons. From going to the farm stand, hikig, drumming - to seeing the Dalai Lama and Beautiful Painted Arrow - She was a constant companion - loyal and loving. Blessings to All who loved her - t is a very real loss in this world but She shines on - just a breath away. Journey well Dearest Friend....

Fred,

My heart goes out to you and your family. I love the pictures---Anne sounds like a truly amazing woman. I'm glad you got to be with her these past months, and I'm sure it meant so much to her to have you with her. Take good care. Alan and I are thinking about you. Marti

Gerry Murray

I only met and spoke with Anne twice, a total of perhaps 15 minutes. But in those 15 minutes I knew that she was one of those rare, sweet people who was precious to all who knew her. For the time that she was here, she brought comfort and joy to so many. My thoughts and prayers are for all those people who loved her, especially Fred, Mike, and their families.
