A True Gentleman
Bob Eck was my boss, my mentor and my friend. He not only took me into his Marksman family but also into his personal family. I will be forever grateful for the more than 30 years of time we were able to spend together. Mr. Eck had a profound and positive impact on my professional career and for most people in his position this is where their concern would end. Mr. Eck, however, always went one step further than others. He and his beloved wife Carole Eck always supported my family life particularly, when Lynda and I were raising young children. This combination of professional and personal support is rare today but truly reflects all you need to know about Robert Allan Eck the man. Mr. Eck was a true gentleman and will always be loved and respected by the Zadra family more than words can express.
Such a generous man
Hello. I'm not known to Bob's family but when I saw his obituary in The Register I wanted to share how I knew him and what a great guy I remember. My best friend worked for Bob when he owned Fabmagic and I worked close by. We were young 20 year olds and just beginning to experience having a full time job. I am passing on his obituary from The Register to Debbie, who now lives in Texas. On her behalf, please extend our sincere sympathy to his loved ones and I was so happy to see Bob found love after the passing of his first love, which was at the time we knew Bob.

A Leader who appreciated his associates
I had the pleasure to work with Bob for about 20 years. He set a great example for the Kazmaier businesses by treating every associate--whatever their role--with respect.
