Sarah Faye Bickford Mc Henry

 

Sarah Faye Bickford McHenry passed away at her home May 27, 2012.
She was born and raised in Narberth, PA and has resided in Havertown for the last four years. She is a graduate of Merion Mercy Academy and Rosemont College.  Following graduation she became a social worker until she was married and then she became a full time mother and homemaker for eighteen years. She then went on to work as a medical secretary for Doctors Fisher and McPherson of Bryn Mawr, for fifteen years before retiring. Sarah was a dog lover and avid reader and enjoyed singing, music and gardening. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children
Julie Anne McHenry Hegarty (the late James) of Drexel Hill, Elizabeth B. McHenry (Peter) of California, Kevin C. McHenry (Eileen) of Limerick and Kate M. Williams (T.J.) of Havertown. She is also survived by a sister Patricia Hughes of Clifton Heights, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews and her special friends Reese and Ari. She was preceded in death by her daughter Victoria Anne McHenry, her former husband John J. McHenry as well as her sister Sr. Anne and brother James Bickford. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass Fri. at 10:30 am Sacred Heart Manoa Church, 108 Shelbourne Rd. Havertown, PA. Friends may call after 10 am at the church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
