Sweetheart of a Friend and Cousin

Sweet Rosemary,
Missing you and recalling your dear life and legacy of care on this St. Valentine's Day, when we remember those who exemplify true love in our lives.

What an honor to have been your goofy friend since 1964 and our days at Mater Dei High School, as well as your loving cousin since your marriage in 1972 to handsome Jim! As was noted at your Funeral Mass, you were a woman of faith, dedicated to God, family and friends with every fiber of your being. You personified exemplary ethics, good character, and kindness throughout all your life.

You were a concerned DAUGHTER, proud of your parents' connections as Anaheim natives. As your Mother became more reclusive, you helped with the younger siblings as they grew up in your family. Later, you singlehandedly eased some of your Mother's suffering by helping her overcome many issues to improve the quality of her life. As a STUDENT, you were a strong team player as a scholar athlete. After college, you became a smart and helpful US Postal EMPLOYEE, dedicated to your work for 4 decades. You were a devoted WIFE to Jim of 43 years, creating an incredible bond and connection of care with him. You were a proud MAMA to Melissa Amy, tirelessly helping her through school, in Girl Scouts, and with raising her wonderful children as loving GRANDMA. You were a cooperative cancer PATIENT and WARRIOR, battling the disease for over 4 years with amazing grace, and with the support and perseverance of your beloved Jim.

And now...surely you must be an ANGEL, watching over your family here on earth and united with your dear ones who have gone before you.

May you be surrounded by the love of our Heavenly Father and all His angels. May you continue to be a guardian and light for Jim, Melissa, Hailey and Tyler and your all your dear ones here.

Vaya con Dios, Capa Rosita Roja.

Remembering...

Rosemary
I will always remember the first time we met. We were at the Vietnam Security Police Association Reunion in Florida. You presented me with a Angel Sun Catcher for sending you encouragement through my cards. This touched my heart so much. When I returned home I placed my angel where I would see her every day. There I would stop for a few words of prayer for you.
I felt I had known you always. I still have my angel sun catcher and I stop each morning for a private prayer for those Sister who are in need. You showed me what strength and courage are all about. You are forever in my memories and heart...thank you.
