Robert G. Thompson

Robert G. Thompson, Sr., age 72, of Folcroft, PA died February 26, 2016 at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, PA.  Mr. Thompson was born and raised in Yeadon, PA and had been a resident of Folcroft for the last 50 years.  He was the owner of Thompson and Sons Landscaping ,  past Fire Chief of the Folcroft Fire Department from 1977 to 1979 and formerly associated with the Yeadon Fire Company.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years  Carole McGill Thompson , two sons: Robert G. Jr. and his wife Terri of Sharon Hill, PA and Gary S. Thompson and his wife Mary of Glenolden, PA   a brother Raymond Thompson of Mt. Pleasant, SC and 5 grandchildren.  Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Saturday March 12, 2016 after 2:30 pm in the Norwood United Methodist Church 315 Chester Pike Norwood, PA 19074. Followed by a Memorial Service at 3:30 pm. Int. private.
