Irene M. Plourde

Irene M. Gagnon Plourde,age 87, of Morton, PA died March 4, 2012 at her residence. Born and raised in Salem, MA, Mrs. Plourde had been a resident of Morton for the last 60 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church where she was formerly active in the altar and rosary societies. She was a former member of the Fiesta Dance Club where she enjoyed ballroom dancing. Mrs. Plourde loved camping with her family, gardening, cooking and caring for her family. She was beloved wife of the late Paul E. who died in 2005. Survivors: daughters; Jeannette Caruso and Marianne Cullen, sons: Richard, Gerard, Raymond, Michael, Eugene, Donald and John Plourde. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Services: Funeral Mass Thursday March 8th at 11:30 am Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 2130 Franklin Ave. Morton, Pa. 19070. Viewing: after 10:00 am Thursday in the church. Burial Sts. Peter and Paul cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the above mentioned church would be preferred.
