My Uncle Chuck

I always remember Uncle Chuck Smiling and laughing and telling jokes. He would often sleep over at our house for the weekend. He watched my son Dominic and Dominic loved him. Dominic loved teasing him and calling him 'Uncle Charles" Chuck would take Dom on walks in the woods and in the parks. He would take him to 7-11 to get a slurpee. He watched him at the pool in the summertime. He would chase Dom with his cane. I will always remember jitterbugging with him in my garage listening to an old Chuck Berry record we found and we played it on a record player. His face would light up and he would laugh telling me his memories of growing up with Chuck Berry and Little Richard on the radio. He played guitar and sang and we always enjoyed listening to him. He taught me and Matt and Brian a lot of guitar. One day he was in my car looking at an old man and his tiny dog walking. Chuck just smiled. I know he loved animals. He always gave Jaxy food and treats and took real good care of him. We will all miss him dearly.
