Determined

Bobar came to the Roxborough Y and worked on the exercise machines and struggled with the computers. She was the most independent, implacable person who was determined to survive on her own terms. I accepted her on her terms and never expected any kind or pleasant word form her. She took help but did not like to ask for it.
