My sincere condolences to the Gorman family. Larry and I were high school mates and though we had lost touch during his years at Penn I have always kept him in mind. Larry was a very bright and very witty guy and he will be missed. I'll never forget his rock & roll faces as he wailed away on his electric guitar. RIP. – David Lipetz

My deepest condolences to the Gorman family during these times of sorrow. I reconnected with Larry in 2000, where he reminded me weekly about our wrestling group "the 4 G's" Gorman, Gansz, Garraway and Gallegher, and how I cheated off him in Mr Kosh's math classes. He would brag about his days of playing LAHS Football and dropping the rock. I reminded him that the soccer team won championships. Over the past 10 years I frequently would beat him in chess matches, which he could not understand because he claimed he was so much smarter than me, being a Penn graduate. I will remember his smart wit, tasteless jokes and imitations of comedian movie stars. Larry, may you rest in peace you traveled a long and hard road. – David Garraway
