Thelma was my customer for over 10 years. I worked at Framers Workroom 2103 walnut st. She was always so happy always smiling, always wearing those striped blue overalls. I remember being so impressed with her love and dedication to her art , to her craft. She was one of my all time favorite person to work with.

Katherine Weisman

Several years ago, I saw Thelma Grobes' work on the Artists' House Gallery website and was fortunate to collect 4 of her etchings. Today, I was thinking of her and thought I'd search online to see where she might be showing her work (hoping to someday be able to collect more of her etchings). I was saddened to see the news of her passing. I would like to send my condolences to her loved ones. Seeing her creations in my home on a daily basis is one of my pleasures in life and I hope in some way that puts smiles on your faces.
I'm very sorry for your loss. Kindest regards, Katherine Weisman
