Memory Book

I'm devastated to learn of the passing of my dear friend James. He came into my life a month after my high school graduation. He used to come into the soda shoppe where I worked and order coffee and he was the only person I would make it for. To show his gratitude he offered me a side job as I was a young struggling college kid with no money. He paid me to take care of his flowers and yard in Canyon TX while he was with dear Lois in PA. I didn't realize until much later what an impact he had on my life then. He was always there to scold and guide when I needed to hear just that. After he sold his house in Canyon, he never missed my birthday and would always send me a virtual card via email. As I was thinking of old memories today I decided to check up on him to learn of his passing. If anyone knows how I might be able to get in touch with Lois or even send her a card to let her know how great they both were to me, please email me. I have her on Facebook but it does not look as if she's active there.

I just found out about your death as I walked around the neighborhood. I have missed you and Lois walking by our house. Every time we passed the house I would comment that we missed you both. Lois, may the Lord bring you comfort and sustain you in these days. Please stop by to visit sometime. God bless you. We love you.

Hello. Unfortunately, i didn’t have the privilege of personally meeting Mr. Glassclock. However, it always troubles me when someone loses a loved one. I am so sorry for your loss. I simcerrly hope you find comfort through the loving and happy memories of your dear loved one. May you also look to our loving Heavenly Father, the God of all comfort, to provide what you need at this very sad time. He promises us that there will be a resurrection of our loved ones that we have lost in death, and they will have the opportunity to live forever in perfect health in Paradise right here on earth. (John 5:28,29, Psalms 37:10,11). May all of God's promises give you a measure of comfort, peace, hope and strength. I have personally found very comforting thoughts on jw.org.
