I miss you. A little too much, a little too often, and a little bit more every day.
The grief sneaks up on me in unexpected moments, it doesn’t end but it changes. It is a passage, not a place to stay. I do not view this a weakness or lack but rather as the price of love.

Thank you for the life you gave me and the gifts you shared. We had a rough but wonderful last 2 months with you and were blessed to be able to help you and care for you. I hope you and Dad are watching over your pack from the most beautiful view we can imagine.
