What a sense of humor:)

Mr. Smith,
You were certainly one of a kind and I will never forget your sense of humor. You liked to push the limits with your jokes and you could get away with it because of that likable charm you had. You laughed at your own jokes, were always smiling, and never showed any pain. I am so sorry you had to leave Carrie, Beth and Andy behind. They loved you so much. Through all the loudness and wildness in the home there was always laughter and love being shared by all. I am so sorry you left us and I can only hope that my father, whose name is also Charles, greeted you warmly up there. He just left us in February so now me and Beth share a unique bond in losing our dad's so close together. I promise to be there for her in her time of grief. Rest in peace and keep on laughing up there. You will be missed. Love Always, Dana Joy

Always smiling!

Mr. Smith your laugh was contagious. my childhood memories at the Smith house was always chaotic with all the birds! You always treated me and all of Beth's friends like you would treat your own children. I can still hear your voice and laugh!! You will truly be missed Mr. Smith! So many wonderful happy, funny memories with you I will always remember. I know you are watching all of us up there and making sure we are all ok. Rest easy Mr. Smith. You are missed!
