I have found few people who have come into my life and with whom -within moments - i felt an immediate bond. George was that special to me. IS that special to me. He filled every moment with smiles and laughter.- he taught the world what 'living life to the fullest' was all about. He had unmeasurable strength to not only beat cancer but showed that even as life changing as it could have been it could Never take his spirit. George - I love you and I will miss you with a heavy heart. I will also smile a bit more because if the great times u brought to me and everyone in our lives. I am honored to have known you and it warms my heart that I will spend my life with a part of you, your son and best friend. I promise to take care if him, Dasdy George. Peace to u and your beautiful soul – Cindy Maitland

If tears could build a stairway and memories were a lane We would walk right up to heaven and bring you back again. No farewell words were spoken no time to say goodbye you were gone before we knew it and only God knows why Our hearts still ache in sadness and secret tears still flow what it meant to lose you no one will ever know but now we know you want us to mourn for you no more to remember all the happy times life still has much in store Since you'll never be forgotten we pledge to you today A cherished place within our heartIs where you'll always stay.

Uncle George you have been in my life since the 60's and I adored you. You were always kind, loving, very funny, artistic, could sing with the best and man did you play some funky, funky bass! I remember you let me come with you on dates and rides in that super cool convertible, had me overnight anytime because you and Aunt Dottie wanted to spend time with me and when Tom and I ran into a "mean girl" from high school in '78, I got to say, "I'm with the band" when she asked why I was there:) Tom remembers a cool blue suit, some Boz Scaggs & sequins. It was a fun night. You were at every family event in my memory and I am so glad we got to see you last at Mom-Mom's birthday party. You were the first person I called before Kelly and I went to Ireland for my Irish travel tips. I will miss you but I know you found the ceile in heaven. Lots of our loved ones were there waiting for you to start playing. I can see my Mom now putting in her song requests. Say hello to everyone for me. I'll see you on the other side in the "New Dimensions". I love you and thank you for everything, Lisa Maria For my Aunt Dottie, cousins and family, It is hard for me being so far away but in the days ahead remember those we hold close in our hearts never truly leave us, they live on in the kindness they have shared and the love they brought into our lives. I love you all. Lisa – Lisa Friel Jasper
